Because you deserve care too

Between school drop-offs, work, practices, meals and bedtime routines, most moms put themselves last. Long skincare routines and hours at the salon just don’t fit. The good news: some of the most effective med spa treatments take less time than a school pickup line and need little to no downtime.

At Today’s Wellness & Aesthetics in Evergreen Park, we focus on quick, results-driven treatments that fit into real life, so you can look rested and feel like yourself again, even on very little sleep. Here are our favorite treatments for busy moms.

The treatments

1. Botox: the 15-minute “I look rested” treatment

Frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet can make you look tired or stressed, even when you’re not. Botox relaxes the muscles that cause these lines, so skin looks smoother and more refreshed. It takes about 15 minutes, there’s no downtime, and you can head straight back to your day. Results appear in 3 to 7 days and last about 3 to 4 months.

Mom bonus: it fits into a lunch break or between drop-off and pickup.

2. Dermal filler: restore what sleepless nights took

Over time, and after pregnancy, the face can lose volume. That can mean hollow under-eyes, flatter cheeks or thinner lips. Hyaluronic acid fillers restore that volume for a natural, refreshed look. Treatments take 30 to 45 minutes, and you may have mild swelling or bruising for a few days. Results last 6 to 18 months, depending on the area.

Mom bonus: under-eye filler can soften that “I haven’t slept in years” look.

3. Customized Circadia facials: an hour that’s all yours

Sometimes you need results and a break. Our professional Circadia facials, from our Customized Enzyme Facial to the Ultimate Firming Peptide Facial, deep-cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate, leaving skin glowing. You’ll walk out ready for anything, with zero downtime.

Mom bonus: it’s real self-care, and maybe the only quiet hour of your week.

4. Microneedling: fix texture, scars and dullness

Pregnancy acne scars, enlarged pores and dull, uneven skin all respond well to microneedling. Tiny micro-channels trigger your skin’s natural collagen production, and we pair every treatment with a professional booster serum for better results. Expect 1 to 3 days of redness, like a mild sunburn. Most clients see their best results after a series of 3 sessions, about 4 weeks apart.

Mom bonus: schedule it on a Friday and you’ll be glowing by Monday.

5. IPL photofacial: erase sun spots and redness

Years of soccer games, beach days and playground afternoons show up as sun spots, freckles and redness. IPL uses gentle pulses of light to fade brown spots and calm redness for a clearer, more even complexion. Sessions take 20 to 30 minutes with little to no downtime.

Mom bonus: fall and winter are the best time to start, so you’re clear by spring break.

6. Laser hair removal: get time back every single day

How much time do you spend shaving every week? Laser hair removal gives you long-lasting hair reduction on the legs, underarms, bikini line, face and more. Small areas take just minutes, and there’s no downtime. After a series of sessions, you can say goodbye to rushed shaves in the shower and to razor bumps.

Mom bonus: the ultimate time-saver: no more shaving before every event.

7. Hormone therapy (BHRT): feel like yourself again

Exhaustion, brain fog, mood swings, poor sleep and low libido aren’t always “just mom life.” Hormone changes, especially in your late 30s and 40s, can play a big role. Our hormone program starts with a free consultation and a $150 comprehensive lab panel, then our provider reviews your results with you and creates a personalized plan if treatment is right for you.

Mom bonus: when your energy and mood improve, everything else gets easier.

Tips for fitting treatments into a busy life

Combine treatments in one visit. Botox and a facial, or laser hair removal and IPL on the same day, can save you a trip. We’ll tell you which combinations work well together.

Book your next appointment before you leave. Treatments like microneedling, IPL and laser hair removal work best on a schedule, and booking ahead keeps you on track.

Plan around big events. Schedule Botox 2 weeks before a wedding, holiday party or family photos, filler 2 to 3 weeks before, and microneedling at least a week before.

Start in the fall. Cooler months are ideal for laser, IPL and microneedling, since there’s less sun.

Ask about packages. Series of sessions often come at a better price than single visits.

Pregnant or breastfeeding?

Many treatments, including Botox, fillers, laser and IPL, are usually postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and certain skincare ingredients aren’t recommended either. Gentle facials can be a lovely option during this time. Always tell us if you’re pregnant, trying to conceive or nursing, and we’ll recommend safe choices for you.

Take an hour for you

You take care of everyone else. Let us take care of you. Book a consultation and we’ll build a plan that fits your skin, your goals and your schedule.

Results vary by person. A consultation is required for all treatments.
